“Our
breeding program is designed to fulfill our Values. We breed for conformation,
temperament, and performance,” Diana and David Thompson.Our foundation
bitches are from Paxon lines and Fellbrin stock was used to produce our first
litters from Hope and Sapphire. Both are long established kennels that, combined,
represent a commitment of over 80 years to Kerry Blue Terries. 
Both Paxon and Fellbrin are long established line bred Kennels with proven
temperaments and conformation. Both lines have produced dogs that have distinguished
themselves and made major contributions to the breed through their progeny. Pictured

Aileen & Richard Santo established Paxon Kennels in 1968. Tetley is an important
sire to the Paxon line and contributes to both Sapphire and Hope's pedigree. Click

Terriers Our current
plan is to line breed back through both Paxon and Fellbrin lines, depending on
the characteristics of the individual puppy. We have tied two strong line bred
pedigrees together allowing the greater flexibility to choose a breeding pair
to get the best combination of breed characteristics depending on the unique qualities
of the puppies. David and I are becoming students
of the Kerry Blue Terrier. We are constantly visiting with other breeders and
handlers, reading books, visiting web sites, attending shows, studying photos,
and examining pedigrees. “Our Values support breeding
dogs that are excellent companions. A dog will be a pet much longer than it will
be a show dog,” Diana Thompson.
